Six police officers and four others were injured after some suspected fighters from Somalia's al-Shabab group attacked a police camp in Kenya.

According to a recent report by Kenyan police, the attack occurred in Garissa County, Eastern Kenya, close to the border with Somalia.

The report stated that the attackers attacked a camp that housed police and reserve soldiers at dawn and used a variety of weapons to attack the camp.

It was stated that six deaths have been confirmed, and four of them have been injured and are currently in the hospital.

Al-Shabab hasn't claimed responsibility for the attack yet, but they frequently carry out cross-border operations against both military and civilian targets.
